Job Description

Travertine Spa is a line of high-end natural botanical body care products and resort apparel. The Personal Associate position will serve as the first point of contact for with an Executive. You are the person who helps the coordinate meetings, schedules and various administrative duties. You represent the executive when communicating with clients and vendors. You will also help from time to time with retail sales; assisting customers in the showroom and offer them a unique, specialized and personal shopping experience. You also have other tasks that include managing inventory, organizing product, clerical duties and handle money at the register.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance and function as the first point of contact for all matters that are brought to the attention of the Executive
  • Review and process expense reports
  • Answer calls, take messages, schedule meetings
  • Business office support is primary; however you will provide extensive personal support -- travel, home construction projects, working with the maid, hosting various parties, high profile friends and events
  • Confidentiality is a must
  • Typing/Word Processing
  • Confidence in yourself and ability to step in where needed
  • Booking transport and accommodation
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
  • Preparing letters, presentations and reports
  • Engaging retail customers

 

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications

  • High school graduate: Some college/college graduate preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite (particularly MS Word and Excel)
  • Excellent Writing Skills
  • Previous clerical, secretarial or commercial work experience is essential
  • Attention. Attention. Attention to detail
  • Customer service and sales related experience
  • Having a friendly and engaging personality
  • Should have a confident manner
  • Positive energy and a willingness to contribute to the team is necessary
  • Excellent communication and professionalism
