The Travertine Spa Collection is a line of high-end natural botanical body care products and resort apparel. You are the face of Travertine in the field. Accordingly, you represent the Travertine brand with integrity and style. You represent our ethos of Treat Yourself WellTM to the market place. You love quality products and enjoy sharing your enthusiasm with others. The Business Development Consultant will serve as part of the sales team reporting to the Sales Director. You are the person who develops and grows new and existing sales channels through account visits, telephone calls, cold calls and events. You prospect and close sales. You establish and reinforce professional relationships. You educate clients on new and upcoming products.
Responsibilities
- Target, prospect and close sales
- Provide regular, timely and detailed feedback on sales activities, business conditions and market feedback
- Detailed CRM feedback
- Conduct minimum number cold call per week as determined by Sales Director
- Follow-up on leads within 24 hours of receiving lead
- Travel within Territory and attend Trade Shows as required
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications
- High school graduate: • 4 year college degree preferred but exceptional training and experience will be noted
- Microsoft Office Suite (particularly MS Word and Excel)
- Proven ability prospect and close sales
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in B2B sales (luxury consumer products and beauty)
- Trade show experience necessary
- Home office set-up required
- Strong ethical principles
- Ability to communicate well and establish relationships
- Self Motivated and entrepreneurial
- Ability to take corrective action when necessary
- Ability to work independently
- Customer Service oriented
